Multi screen monitoring
Axis F34 host can provide cost-effective and highly hidden solutions for monitoring four closely related areas. The mainframe shall be placed indoors and can be connected to four different axis F series sensor units. Sensor Danyun can be installed in narrow indoor locations or outdoor locations up to 8, 12, or 15 meters (26, 39, or 49 feet) away, depending on whether the sensor unit and cable accessories support it.
Axis F34 is ideal for small shops and offices as well as around ATMs. It is optimized for customers seeking convenient, flexible and cost-effective multi screen monitoring solutions.
Cost effective installation
Axis F34 supports simultaneous processing of picture video streams from four different areas through an Ethernet port. The total installation cost of the host, four sensor units, and other system components may be lower than the cost of a system that includes four equivalent standard webcams.
For example, the cost of a network switch may be lower due to the reduction in the number of ports required. If the video management software (VMS) sees axis F34 as requiring one license instead of four, the license fee for VMS can also be reduced. The overall installation and replacement of each unit is also simpler and more flexible than traditional camera solutions.
Axis F34 has two built-in full-size SD card slots for local video storage. The host supports Ethernet power supply and 8-28 V DC.

Streaming performance
Each channel of axis F34 supports 1080p or 720p capture mode and multiple separately configured video streams. Any combination of two modes in which axis F34 can operate simultaneously between channels.
A capture mode sets the maximum resolution and frame rate. In 1080p mode, the maximum resolution is 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels), and the maximum frame rate is 12.5/15 frames per second (50 / 60 Hz). It can provide full screen angle from 1080p sensor unit.
In 720p mode, the maximum resolution is 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) and the maximum frame rate is 25 / 30 frames per second (50 / 60 Hz). It can provide the screenshot of 1080p sensor unit and the full picture of 720p sensor unit such as axis f1004.
Both in 1080p mode and 720p mode, axis F34 supports four picture stream processing, which can integrate the independent pictures of four sensor units into one picture for viewing at the same time. Each scene captures a quarter of the display area.
Zipstream
Zipstream Technology
Axis F34 supports axis zipstream technology, which is a more efficient implementation of H.264 video encoder. It can reduce the average bandwidth and storage usage by 50% or more for many monitoring scenarios. It also ensures that important details are maintained when unnecessary data is deleted.
Axis zipstream Technology
Axis F34 also provides a wide dynamic range capability to handle scenes with high contrast relationships. The mainframe, together with axis F series sensor units, can provide color video in low light level of 0.3 lux.
