The axis F34 host provides a cost-effective and highly covert solution for monitoring four closely related areas. The host should be located indoors and can be connected to four different axis F series sensor units. Sensor Danyun can be installed in narrow indoor locations or outdoor locations as far as 8 meters, 12 meters or 15 meters (26, 39 or 49 feet), depending on whether the sensor unit and cable accessories support it.
The axis F34 is ideal for small shops and offices as well as around ATMs. It is optimized for customers seeking convenient, flexible and cost-effective multi screen monitoring solutions.
Cost effective installation
Axis F34 supports simultaneous processing of picture video streams from four different regions through one Ethernet port. The total installation cost of the host, four sensor units, and other system components may be lower than that of a system that includes four equivalent standard webcams.
For example, the cost of a network switch may be lower because the number of ports required is reduced. If the video management software (VMS) considers axis F34 to require one license instead of four, the license fee for VMS can also be reduced. The overall installation and replacement of each unit is simpler and more flexible than traditional camera solutions.
The axis F34 has two built-in full-size SD card slots for local video storage. The host supports Ethernet power supply and 8-28 V DC.

Stream processing performance
Each channel of the axis F34 supports 1080p or 720p capture modes and multiple individually configured video streams. Any combination of two modes that the axis F34 can operate simultaneously between channels.

A capture mode sets the maximum resolution and frame rate. In 1080p mode, the maximum resolution is 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels) and the maximum frame rate is 12.5/15 frames per second (50 / 60 Hz). It can provide full picture angle from 1080p sensor unit.

It can reduce bandwidth and storage usage by 50% or more on average for many monitoring scenarios. It also ensures that important details are maintained when unnecessary data is deleted.
Axis F34 also provides a wide dynamic range for scenes with high contrast relationships. The host, together with axis F series sensor units, is capable of providing color video at 0.3 lux low light level.
