Axis M1031-W webcam is very suitable for protecting the safety of places such as small businesses, boutiques, restaurants, hotels, etc. The camera provides wireless (IEEE 802.11g) and wired network connections for flexible installation. It uses VGA resolution, at 30 frames per second, with the best video quality of its kind.
Intrusion alarm function
Axis M1031-W integrates passive infrared (PIR) sensors for motion detection – even in the dark. It includes a white LED for on-site lighting in the event of an accident or user request. It also provides two-way audio communication with integrated microphones and speakers, remote listening and direct communication with individuals, or using recorded audio clips.
High performance compression and video streaming

Axis M1031-W provides multiple individually configurable video streams in H.264 as well as motion JPEG and MPEG-4 Part 2. Full frame rate and resolution are provided in each compression. H. By greatly reducing the bit rate, 264 compression achieves bandwidth optimization and storage efficiency.
