AXIS P7216 Video Encoder is a cost-effective 16-channel video encoder with great video performance and excellent audio quality. It can simplify migration to network video without upgrading existing camera systems.
Powerful and full-featured
AXIS P7216 provides edge storage through four microSDHC memory card slots. The video encoder supports all types of analog cameras including PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) and PTZ domes. It features both RS-422 and RS-485 for controlling analog PTZ cameras. Configurable inputs/outputs can be connected to external relays and sensors for activating lights, locking/unlocking doors etc. In addition, a SFP slot enables network redundancy.
Easily realize a more intelligent CCTV system
Axis p7216 is a great choice for large analog video systems, especially where IP network infrastructure is in place. The device uses the same network cable as data transmission to realize Ethernet power supply, which simplifies installation. Power supply is included with the kit.
Reduced bandwidth and storage requirements
Axis p7216 can provide two synchronous video streams at full frame rate, one is H.264 format, the other is motion JPEG format, with resolution up to D1 (NTSC format 720x480, PAL format 720x576). H. 264 video compression format not only does not reduce the image quality, but also greatly reduces the bandwidth and storage requirements. This product supports motion JPEG for increased flexibility.
