Scalability
Axis q7900 has excellent flexibility and supports scalable video monitoring system. When equipped with axis q7406 blade video encoder, the rack can support up to 84 analog cameras. With its four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, the axis q7900 rack solution can output multiple video streams from these 84 channels.
reliability
Axis q7900 is a product with high reliability. With dual redundant power supply system, even if one power supply needs to be replaced for some reason, the normal operation of the rack will not cause any impact. Axis q7900 also has a hot swappable fan module. The defective fan module can be replaced without power failure.
The rack solution realizes PTZ and hemispherical PTZ control operation through 6 RS-485 interfaces at the back end of each slot. Each slot can also connect up to 12 external input and / or output devices. These external devices include external alarm triggers and device controls, such as the triggering response of a door or light in the event of a condition.
