Simple monitoring solution for axis network video products
Axis p7701 video decoder can connect analog or digital monitor / projector to axis webcam and video encoder and display real-time video, thus providing a simple monitoring solution. When only real-time video needs to be displayed (for example, public view monitoring at the store entrance), axis p7701 can provide a more cost-effective solution than using a PC connected monitor. For display purposes, axis p7701 can assist in offloading the decoded digital stream of the main server as a supplement to the video management system.
H. Full frame rate video decoding in 264, MPEG-4 and motion JPEG formats
Axis p7701 decodes H.264 and MPEG-4 full frame video streams at all resolutions up to D1 (720x480 in NTSC and 720x576 in PAL). Motion JPEG can be decoded at all resolutions up to 720p (1280x720). The video decoder can provide digital or analog video output. Video from any number of cameras can be displayed in turn.
Video and high quality audio to trigger alerts
When an alarm is triggered in a webcam or video encoder, axis p7701 can be configured to automatically display the video that triggered the alarm. Axis p7701 also decodes mono audio. The video decoder can be powered by Ethernet or external power supply.
