Panorama and close-up
Axis p3707-pe network camera obtains 360 degree panorama or combination of panorama and close-up. The 8 megapixel multi-sensor fixed camera has four zoom camera heads, which can capture the scene from all directions with a wide view angle or an enlarged view angle.
Axis p3707-pe is essentially a four camera device, which can provide cost-effective solutions for large indoor and outdoor area monitoring, such as retail stores, shopping centers, warehouses, school lounges, hotel lounges, office lounges and parking lots. It is also very suitable for the intersection of foyers, aisles and roads, and building corners.
Cost savings
Because four camera heads are placed in one main body, axis p3707-pe is very cost-effective, and its price and performance are comparable to those of four standard zoom cameras. With only one network cable, not four, installation is much easier. One cable also reduces the number of ports required on the switch. Having an IP address for the camera means that for most video management systems, it requires only one software license fee (not four). In addition, the camera is powered via Ethernet, eliminating the need for a nearby power outlet. Axis p3707-pe also has low power consumption with a maximum power of 5.5 W.
Reducing the bit rate with Axis Zipstream
Axis zipstream
The camera supports axis zipstream technology, which is very beneficial when using 8 megapixel streaming video. Zipstream can realize more efficient implementation of H.264 video encoder. It is suitable for a variety of monitoring scenarios and can reduce bandwidth and storage requirements by more than 50% on average. Coding techniques ensure that important details are retained when unnecessary data is over compressed.
Flexible installation
The installation personnel can optimize the field of vision through each zoom lens of axis p3707-pe to meet the monitoring requirements: wide angle is suitable for panoramic monitoring, and long focus is suitable for the enlarged picture requiring clearer details. For optimal positioning, each camera head can slide flexibly along a circular track by + / - 90 °. Each camera head can also be tilted from 28 ° to 92 °. In order to capture vertical scenes (such as long corridors and roads), each camera head can be rotated 90 ° to support axis corridor format.
P3707-PE Corridor Coverage
Rotatable camera heads: (A) Line vertically positioned for 9:16 Axis’ Corridor Format for coverage of vertically oriented scenes such as hallways. (B) Horizontal position for standard 16:9 views.
P3707-PE 360 Coverage
Under the cover: The four camera heads of AXIS P3707-PE can together cover a 360° area, with each having a 108° horizontal field of view at max. wide and 54° at max. telephoto. (A) One RJ45 connector for the network cable. (B) Built-in microSD card slot.
The camera heads can be repositioned to fully cover the more than 270° area from the outer corner of a building.

Axis p3707-pe uses axis corridor mode to capture vertical scenes from four directions
With axis p3707-pe, you can set the video viewfinder mode separately for each camera head, so that you can optimize the resolution or frame rate of four scenes respectively. The viewfinder mode determines the maximum resolution and frame rate for streaming.
The 1080p viewfinder mode achieves a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a maximum frame rate of 12.5/15 frames per second (50 / 60 Hz). When the camera lens is in the widest position, it also supports a horizontal field of view of 108 °. At the maximum telephoto position, it has a 54 ° horizontal field of view.
720p viewfinder mode can achieve a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a maximum frame rate of 25 / 30 frames per second (50 / 60 Hz). When the camera lens is in the widest position, the 720p mode can achieve a horizontal field of view of 67 ° and a horizontal field of view of 36 ° at the maximum zoom position.
The camera supports four segmented pictures, which is a video stream captured and displayed by four camera heads in four quadrants simultaneously.
High video quality
Axis p3707-pe camera has a specially designed transparent cover with smooth edges. This ensures that the images in all directions are clear without distortion. With four 1080p images totaling 8 megapixels
